TIMELINE TO DESIGN

drag and play!

A Mediterranean vision of Design.

Our approach focuses on the transversality of design as a point of intersection between the axes: industry – culture, form – function and technology – humanity.

At the exhibition we propose 6 concepts that function as overlapping layers to describe this design landscape; Contemporary classics, Daily icons, Mediterranean Soul, Disruptive attitude, Urban Lifestyle and conscious sustainability.

Design as a discipline, serves as a crucial link between Spanish culture and industry, blending human creativity with the practical and aesthetic needs of the modern world. At its core, Spanish design transcends mere utilitarian functions and becomes a potent means of expressing cultural values, social narratives, and collective aspirations. This is why it is a key component to introduce the Spanish culture and ways of expression in this exhibition. Viewing the holistic approach to Spanish design will not just provide guidance but also impart education and enhance the viewer’s experience with a deeper understanding of Spanish design. overlapping layers to describe this design landscape; Contemporary classics, Daily icons, Mediterranean Soul, Disruptive attitude, Urban Lifestyle and conscious sustainability.

In the exhibition we use 6 concepts as 6 overlapping layers to explain our view of Spanish design.
